At MOALA we take all clients’ safety and well-being as our top priority. We strive to provide a relaxing and hassle-free experience. We do our utmost to meet our clients’ needs and deliver a sustainable service of excellence.

As a home salon and small business, it is important that we have policies in place to protect the integrity of our business and continue to provide a safe environment for our clients.

Consent Form

When arriving for a treatment, you will be asked to fill out a detailed consent form. This is to ensure that your needs are clear, and you are safe to undergo your desired treatment. It is important to be honest when completing the consent form as withholding certain information may compromise your treatment and result in an unwanted side effect. Treatment cannot take place without a completed and signed consent form.

Early Arrival

Please do not arrive before your scheduled appointment time. As a home salon we do not have the facilities for you to wait to be seen. All appointments are scheduled to allow each client to leave with time for the next client to park comfortably. Arriving early may result in the parking space not being accessible.

Parking

Please park in the space instructed upon your booking confirmation. Parking in a different space will result in you being requested to move your car to the designated space.

Lateness

If you are running late for your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. Often, we will be able to accommodate your full treatment time, but this is not guaranteed, and your treatment time may be reduced.

Deposits

50% of full treatment price is required to secure all bookings that exceed 60minutes.

This is non refundable if you cancel outside our 24 hour cancellation policy.

This is applicable for any cancellation on the day regardless of the reason provided for cancelling.

Cancellation Policy

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide 24 hours’ notice. We understand some situations are unforeseeable and we will do our best to reschedule your appointment.

No shows

If you do not show up for your appointment or do not provide respectable notice, you will be required to pre-pay before booking your next appointment.

Complaints

We always strive to provide you with an exceptional service. However, if you feel unhappy with the treatment you have received, please inform us straight away so we can resolve any issues and try to rectify the situation.

Children

We understand at times you may need to bring a child or baby along to your appointment. Although we are not opposed to you doing so, this is to be requested prior to your appointment and at the therapist’s discretion. Please do not arrive with your child without consent. This is for the safety of your child and the logistics of the treatment you are having.

Age of Consent

Treatments are for ages 18 and over. If you are under 18, you must attend your appointment with your parent or caregiver. Not all treatments are available for under 18, please contact us for more information and advice on the treatments you require.

Women only

MOALA is a female-only salon. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Contraindications

Upon completing your consultation, we have the right to decline treatment if you have any contraindications that may cause adverse reactions or harm to your health. Client safety is our main priority.

Loyalty scheme

At MOALA we love rewarding our clients! With every 6 treatments you will receive the 7th complimentary. At each visit you will receive a stamp on your loyalty card, it is your responsibility to ensure your card is stamped and you must present the completed card to receive your complimentary treatment.

Refer a Friend

Your referral means a lot to us. It helps us grow as a business and is a massive compliment when you tell others about us. To show our appreciation, your referral will receive 20% off their first treatment and so will you on your next appointment. There is no limit to how many referrals you can make, and you will receive 20% for each referral. 20% off can be redeemed once per visit, it cannot be accumulated into a larger sum.

Please Note:

Any existing client who refers a new client to MOALA will be entitled to 20% off their next treatment.

The 20% discount cannot be redeemed until the new client has visited the Salon.

The new client is entitled to 20% off their first treatment only.

For the avoidance of doubt; a ‘new’ client is a person who has not had any treatments from MOALA before.

Patch Testing

In order to receive a tinting service, lash lift or brow lamination, it is imperative you have a patch test 48 hours prior to your appointment regardless if you have had this service elsewhere. This is solely for your own well-being and to ensure you do not have an allergic reaction.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers must be used before the expiration date.
Gift vouchers can be redeemed as part payment of for treatments.
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and have no cash value.
Gift vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer.
